Basic Course in Mushroom Foraging – English – (Grunnkurs sopp på engelsk)

Learn how to identify some edible mushrooms, and the dangerous ones.

We invite you to a basic course in mushroom knowledge with teaching in English.

Price for members kr 1000, for others kr 1500.

The purpose of the course is to get to know a selection of good edible mushrooms and the most dangerous poisonous mushrooms. After the course, participants should feel confident in these species, be able to pick edible mushrooms and use them for food.

The course consists of both theory teaching and field work, where you will get to help finding mushrooms and learn about the habitats of the different species.

The book «Sopp i skog og mark» (Norwegian) is included in the price.

Friday 25.08. 17.00 – 21.00
Theory at Gløshaugen

Saturday 26.08.  10.00 – 15.30
We meet at Dragvoll Idrettsbygg to look for mushroom, determine the species of the mushrooms found and continue some theory.

Members have reduced participant price, so membership pays off. In order to receive the membership price, you must be logged in when registering.

Cancellation:
until 25 July = refund of the full course fee
from 26 July to 18 August = refund of half the course fee,
from 19 August to course start = no refund
